experiencing

this is of the same path, yet divergent; parallel with the rumination on Purpose and Action. if i previously touched the realm of action, this is a matter of Experience. perhaps it is vitally important to consider experiencing before considering acting. considering this feat may drastically alter one's action. realizing the need to consciously consider one's action is a step that should be completed After consciously Experiencing the world before you. perhaps they are one and the same.
just as complacent repetition begets an involuntary (in varying degrees) mold of the Self, it also begets an illusory mold of the world. the mind, through lack of consciousness-- a byproduct of the repetition of daily life-- creates a simulacrum of the world and all its beautiful and disgusting creations; spectacles which cover (rather than elucidate) with a film of the familiar all unique things and experiences. much like the hand which develops a callus from continual exposure, the eyes develop a film of repetition, which, if not tended to, and eased back to health, can build up until there is no hope left, glaucoma of the Soul, and total blindness ensues.
